One participant said Bridal Friends’ goal had been $300,000 but the group “only did 211,” a reference in the record suggesting about $211,000 was raised under the current model.
The board also said a restaurant group — identified in the meeting as Entourage and Vies in Naperville and related locations — will host a monthlong promotion in June: the restaurants will feature a signature drink and $1 from each sale will be donated to DuPage Animal Friends for the month.
Board members said volunteers will debrief the gala to identify lessons for future events and that staff will work with DuPage Bridal Friends leadership to plan 2026 fundraising timing and structure. No new fundraising policies or budget allocations were adopted during the meeting.
