Board approves resignations and support items but blocks whole personnel package

Superintendent Dr. Mark Garrison told the board the administration had prepared the Exhibit A package to meet the board’s earlier directive to present a balanced budget by June and warned the board that, without the proposed reductions, the district could not present a balanced budget in time for June adoption. Garrison said some positions labeled as economic layoffs could be restored if additional funds become available.
