He and other board members said the district still needs a long‑term solution for the restrooms but must pursue an alternative plan that fits current budget constraints.
A motion to reject all bids was made, seconded and approved unanimously. District officials said the restroom project remains a priority but that they will return with alternate approaches and timing that align with the district’s financial plan.
No further action on the renovation was taken at the meeting; the board directed staff to explore alternatives rather than award any of the submitted contracts.
