During consent business the Weber County Commission approved purchase orders and warrants covering routine county expenditures.
County procurement staff member Jason Horn summarized the purchase order and warrant lists. He said the purchase order summary showed a total of 15 purchase orders totaling about $682,000; 60.3% (approximately $427,000) was for recreation and flooring at the Golden Spike Event Center, 12% (about $83,000) for parks HVAC replacement at the ice sheet, 12% (about $79,000) for engineering related to a 2200 South road excavation, and 10% (about $69,000) for fleet upfitting of sheriff vehicles.
Horn said warrants totaled about $2,007,705.86 across 48 warrant items. He reported 40% (around $903,000) was for the jail (medical and mental health services, security upgrades and food), 33% (about $740,000) for the transfer station (disposal fees), 7% (about $157,000) for the Golden Spike Event Center flooring, and 6% (about $144,000) for the library (books, materials, fire alarm replacement). Horn identified the top five vendors by dollar amount as BioCore Health Strategies LLC ($741,000), Republic Services ($707,000), DuraTrac Flooring ($152,000), Automation Design and Service Inc. ($84,000), and Overdrive Inc. ($65,000).
Commissioners asked no substantive questions and approved the items by motion. The approvals were routine consent items; no changes to policy or new programs were adopted in the consent vote.
The meeting record does not include supporting line-item invoices; staff directed further procurement or invoice follow-up through standard county processes.
