Plymouth School Committee elects Pisano chair, Jackson vice chair and Morgan secretary

The Plymouth School Committee completed its annual reorganization Monday night, voting unanimously to install Michael Pisano as chair, Jessica Jackson as vice chair and Robert Morgan as secretary.

The reorganization followed the committee's usual process of nominations and voice votes. Committee members nominated Pisano for chair; after a call for other nominations and an affirmative voice vote, the chair position was declared unanimous. Jackson and Morgan were then nominated and confirmed by unanimous voice votes for vice chair and secretary, respectively.

The reorganization was procedural and was followed immediately by the committee's regular agenda, including student reports and presentations from school principals. The committee did not attach agenda items to the reorganization votes and offered no substantive changes to officer duties during the meeting.

Committee members present voiced support for continuity and for incoming officers during the brief reorganization period.
