Board staff said no presentation was necessary and clarified that the board’s action was to declare formation of the district. Supervisor Brophy McGee moved approval and Supervisor Gallardo seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The action gives the organization permission to proceed with formal district formation steps as described in the county agenda; no public comments were received at the hearing. The county clerk will follow statutory notice and filing procedures for new special districts.
