The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on Monday declared the formation of the proposed Hacienda Del Campo Irrigation Water Delivery District and approved the related petition, voting unanimously.
The hearing was brief. Chairman Galvin asked the clerk whether any members of the public had requested to speak; the clerk reported none. Board staff said no presentation was necessary and clarified that the board’s action was to declare formation of the district. Supervisor Brophy McGee moved approval and Supervisor Gallardo seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The action gives the organization permission to proceed with formal district formation steps as described in the county agenda; no public comments were received at the hearing. The county clerk will follow statutory notice and filing procedures for new special districts.
