The Forest Grove School District Board of Directors voted to award a $62,042 contract to BrightSight Electric for site lighting at Echo Shaw Elementary School.
Board Director Klute told the board the work is part of the district’s bond safety and security scope and that the district received three quotes. “We had 3 quotes, 1 from Bridal Side, 1 from Inline, and then Portland Electric decided that they were too busy, to be able to provide a quote for this summer,” Klute said. The board’s motion to approve the procurement passed with all members present voting in favor.
The board discussed no amendments to the award during the meeting. The lighting contract will be paid from the district’s 2022 bond funds allocated for safety and security projects.
