School committee introduces new director of finance and operations, Dr. Susan Gilson

Dr. Gilson addressed the committee, saying she prepared “a high level analysis of the budget based on 3 years of fiscal data” for her interview and that she looked forward to “the future growth of this district.” The committee invited questions but none were raised during the meeting.
The committee did not take any additional formal action at this meeting related to the appointment; Dr. Gilson will assume responsibilities in the director of finance and operations role based on the prior vote to appoint.
