Board members praised project manager Susan for weekly coordination and credited the charrette for producing a design process that engaged staff and community members. The board approved a motion to move forward with the artists selected at the charrette and asked staff to return with updated designs and cost estimates.
No final design or contract award was approved at the meeting; board members emphasized the need to balance aesthetics, maintenance costs, and integration with the building and courtyard reconstruction timeline.
