The Lakewood City School District board on May 20 approved several personnel resolutions on the consent and other business portions of the agenda, including certified and classified actions and a separately added resolution accepting a resignation and adopting an employment separation agreement and release.
Human-resources items included 33 certified actions and eight classified actions approved as presented in the personnel report; later in the meeting the board approved an additional six certified actions (five resignations for retirement and one resignation) and five classified actions on a single reading, each approved by roll call.
Board members added an item under other business — a resolution accepting a resignation and adopting an employment separation agreement and release — which was moved, seconded and approved on a single reading in a unanimous roll-call vote. The board did not disclose details of the separation agreement at the meeting.
All personnel and separation items passed by roll-call votes with board members recorded as voting in favor.
