The Public Works and Safety Board on May 19 ratified an agreement with Exosite for the city’s network rebuilding project. City Controller Greg Wright told the board the funding for the agreement had already been approved by council through an additional appropriation and that the deputy mayor signed the agreement so work could begin because of significant IT issues.
Wright said the ratification was a housekeeping action to confirm the deputy mayor’s signature and the funding authority. The board voted to ratify the agreement as presented; no additional conditions or dollar amounts were discussed in the meeting.
Staff did not provide details about the scope, schedule or contract value of the Exosite agreement during this item and said the ratification was to confirm an administrative action taken to begin urgent work.
