Commissioners approve several facilities contracts; county staff to verify costs on building control renewal

The Delaware County Commissioners approved multiple facilities maintenance contracts and discussed a renewal for the building automation vendor while asking staff to verify the cost before finalizing budget details.

The commission approved a maintenance service agreement with ResolvTech Mechanical Service (presented by Beau Combs) covering courthouse and justice center HVAC systems; the two biannual contracts total $26,680 annually ($16,180 for the courthouse and $13,340 for the justice center). Beau Combs said the company would provide preventive maintenance and monthly reports and could add the 9‑1‑1 center by request. Commissioners approved the contracts by roll call.

The commissioners also approved a pest‑control contract with Bugdog Pest Control at $450 per month for both county buildings, replacing the prior provider. A mowing contract with ABS Services was approved following procurement review and verification that ABS supplied required insurance and bonding.

Separately, the board discussed renewing a contract with Automated Logic (building automation/controls). Don Chambers presented the renewal but said he did not have the verified cost in the meeting packet; commissioners asked staff to confirm the renewal price (the presenter estimated it would be around $10,000 but the exact cost was not in the record).
