BW Construction reported progress and schedule updates on the Delaware County Mental Health Facility, telling commissioners site and building work is advancing toward the project’s summer deadlines and that the contract value has not changed.
Mark Manship, BW Construction project manager, said the current contract value remains $7,996,017 and described recent work including water main pressure testing, sanitary piping completion to the building, parking lot binder course installation, roofing, siding, painting, drywall finishing and ongoing mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough‑ins. Manship said permanent power was installed and energized the prior week and that air‑handler pads are poured and ducts being prepped.
He told commissioners the prior permitting delay had been resolved with a no‑cost change order, and that the overall project completion milestone is July 3, 2025, with official turnover and all documents to be completed by Aug. 18, 2025. Manship said furniture and loose equipment have been sourced and scheduled and that ceiling grid work awaits inspections.
Commissioners and the contractor discussed remaining site items and the process for setting final install dates and data conduit routing. Manship said there were no additional critical issues beyond the earlier permitting delay.
