The City of Princeton is soliciting sealed bids for construction of a 48-by-32 storage building at the wastewater treatment plant, the city announced during its council meeting.
City staff said contract documents are available at the city clerk’s office at City Hall. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “city of Princeton storage building,” include proof of insurance, and comply with prevailing-wage requirements. The city will not accept faxed or emailed bids.
City staff specified a submission deadline of 11 a.m. Friday, May 30. Staff listed Tim Forrestal (wastewater plant) as the contact for bid questions. The bid packet and the prevailing-wage requirement will govern the selection; bidders should follow the procurement instructions in the contract documents.
The city manager noted that several public projects are out for bid and that more solicitations are expected in the coming weeks. Questions about this solicitation were directed to the city clerk’s office and the wastewater plant contact.
