The chair noted the county council’s next meeting is in June and estimated that, after review by the council and Wagner and Schilling, it could be “a couple months” before the position is advertised; other board members recalled a prior countywide process that took closer to six months from start to advertisement. No changes to the draft were recorded at the meeting; the board voted to forward the document for the next review steps.
The board did not set a formal advertising date; staff said they would attempt to move the process quickly and report back.
