Montgomery CCPD hears FY2025–26 budget timeline, building payment and outstanding election bill

Montgomery Crime Control and Prevention District members received an update on preliminary FY2025–26 budgeting, the city’s pending purchase of the Jim’s Hardware property and an outstanding election invoice during their meeting. Finance Director Mary Anne Clark and the district’s chief briefed the board on timetable and cash-flow implications ahead of the city council’s summer budget workshop.

Clark said CCPD is “on track with projections” and that the district will likely need to account for a monthly payment for a new building starting Aug. 1. “We anticipate that we will probably have a monthly payment starting on August 1,” Clark told the board. She said CCPD staff plan to present a proposed budget to the council’s July workshop so the council can review CCPD items before CCPD’s July meeting.
