After a roll-call voice vote—Commissioner Carr and others voted aye, Commissioner Thomas recorded a nay—the motion carried. The city clerk administered the oath; Rohr recited the oath to support the U.S. and state constitutions and to discharge duties honestly and impartially, and then signed the oath before commissioners.
Following the oath, commissioners welcomed Commissioner Roger Allen Rohr and urged him to begin work on the commission’s agenda items.
