Select Board schedules workshop with Airport Commission after members reject updated bylaws

Select Board members discussed recent action by the Airport Municipal Airport Commission to abandon a working update to its bylaws and retain the 2001 version. Board members said the intent of the updated bylaws was to clarify terms, membership qualifications and other procedures; several Select Board members urged continuing work rather than abandoning the rewrite. A majority of board members supported arranging a workshop with the Airport Commission to discuss the draft bylaws, address miscommunication, and ensure the commission’s membership requirements and role are clear. The board voted to hold a workshop with the Airport Commission soon.
