Board recommends sidewalk replacement contract; low bidder Estrada Construction named

Staff explained the sidewalk program is guided by a 2022 inspection that identified more than 10,000 defects and that the village intends to address sidewalks by zone each year to keep repair volumes reasonable.
Staff said prior phases were completed in earlier years and that the current bid covers defined zones; if the Village Board approves the committee recommendation, staff will execute the contract and proceed with mobilization.
