WAVERLY, Iowa — The Waverly City Council on May 19 approved amendment No. 1 to Watersmith Engineering's proposal for the Eastgate sanitary sewer lift station replacement to upsize a force main and add scope at an additional cost of $13,700.
The council passed resolution 25‑80 to approve the amendment, which adds replacement of the existing 4‑inch cast‑iron force main with a 6‑inch PVC force main. The motion stated the additional cost for engineering services is $13,700. The amendment was approved unanimously on roll call.
