TIPP CITY, Ohio โ The Tipp City Council heard a first reading May 19 of an ordinance that would vacate a portion of an existing stormwater drainage easement affecting Lots 4451 and 4452 in the Cedar Grove subdivision.
City staff told council the easement vacation was requested by property owners and has been reviewed and approved by the city's engineer.
Council members sponsored the ordinance for first reading. No final vote to vacate the easement occurred; the item was introduced for subsequent consideration and any accompanying administrative steps.
Council did not debate technical details of the stormwater system at the meeting; engineering review had already been completed according to staff.
