TIPP CITY, Ohio — Council members on May 19 heard a first reading of an ordinance that would approve the final plat for a Maple Hill Cemetery replat and dedicate right-of-way along Maple Hill Road.
City staff said the ordinance would allow Monroe Township to subdivide land on the north side of Maple Hill Road into two small lots and dedicate the right-of-way needed along Maple Hill Road.
A council member sponsored the ordinance at first reading. No final vote occurred at the meeting; the item was introduced for future consideration and any required administrative review.
The council did not discuss changes to the plat during the meeting. Additional documents and engineering review requirements will be addressed at later proceedings if necessary.
