Tipp City council adopts Tree Board 2025 plan

TIPP CITY, Ohio — The Tipp City Council unanimously adopted the city Tree Board's 2025 annual plan at its May 19 meeting.
City staff presented the Tree Board's draft and asked council to adopt the plan in full. Karen Jackson, speaking on behalf of the Tree Board, thanked council and noted the board is seeking a third member.
A council member moved to adopt the plan and another council member seconded. The roll-call vote was recorded as all members present voting yes; the motion carried.
Council discussion during the meeting included appreciation for the board's work and a request that the board publicize the open seat for volunteers. No substantive amendments to the plan were proposed during the meeting.
