The Kirksville City Council approved appointments to the Tourism Advisory Board and confirmed the board’s membership changes.
City Manager Mary Maycomb reported that Wally Trozen, who served as the long‑time chair when the board was part of the Chamber of Commerce and continued after the city assumed the program in 2019, is willing to remain as chair. Stacy Tucker Potter was appointed to a partial term ending in June 2027 to fill a vacancy caused by work‑schedule conflicts. Another member, Kevin White, completed a term and did not wish to continue.
Council members praised the strong applicant pool and encouraged residents to apply for openings on boards and commissions via the city website. The council approved the appointments by voice vote.
Staff will complete appointment paperwork and update the Tourism Advisory Board roster.
