Dickson County commissioners accepted quarterly financial reports for county funds and school funds and set a special-called meeting to consider the 2025–26 consolidated budget.
Mr. Hall presented quarterly financial reports for all funds (separately for school funds and other county funds). Commissioners asked no substantive questions and approved the reports by voice vote after motions recorded in the meeting minutes.
Commission leadership announced an additional schedule for budget consideration. The chair said there will be a budget advisory committee meeting and public hearing on June 2 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a special-call county commission meeting at 6:40 p.m. to consider, discuss and vote on the county’s consolidated 2025–26 budget, and then a work session at 7:00 p.m. The chair described this as “3 meetings in 1” and read the start times: “6:30, 6:40, 7 o'clock on June 2.”
Commissioners also approved several other routine budget-related agenda items, including authorization of copy leases that exceed one year and the county health and occupation safety plan, all by voice vote.
