CLEVELAND — The committee voted to ratify a collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 8 covering promoted ranks in the Division of Police — sergeants, lieutenants and captains.
The agreement, presented in committee, provides base-wage increases comparable to recently ratified police contracts: 3% in each of the three years covered by the CBA. Department and council staff said the contract also incorporates standard city policy language on vacation accruals and related personnel provisions. The ordinance authorizing ratification (No. 661-2025) passed the committee and will proceed to the full council for final action.
