The Taylorsville City Council unanimously approved Resolution No. 25-01, proclaiming January 16 as Religious Freedom Day in the city, and adopted council meeting minutes from Dec. 4, 2024.
Council member Ernest moved to pass Resolution 25-01; the motion was seconded and the roll call vote recorded unanimous support from the council members present (votes recorded as “yes” by Council member Burgess, Chair Harker, Council member Knudson and Council member Barbieri).
Separately, the council adopted the Dec. 4, 2024 minutes by motion and roll call. Earlier in the evening the RDA board also approved its May 15, 2024 minutes and adjourned.
Ending: The council then continued with reports and scheduled future meetings before moving into a closed session at the end of the agenda.
