Council selects Knudson as vice chair; RDA names Meredith chair, Knudson vice chair

The Taylorsville City Council confirmed Council member Knudson as the council’s vice chair and the city’s Redevelopment Agency appointed officers and approved minutes from a prior meeting.
Council members completed their internal officer selections at the start of the session; the council announced Council member Knudson as vice chair for the coming year. The council then recessed and convened the RDA. The RDA board moved to appoint Meredith as RDA chair and Council member Knudson as RDA vice chair; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call.
Board members also voted to approve the RDA board minutes from May 15, 2024. The roll call for the RDA motions returned unanimous “yes” votes from the members present.
Council and RDA members proceeded with the remainder of the evening’s agenda after the appointments.
Ending: The council then adjourned the RDA meeting and resumed the council meeting to continue other agenda items.
