Trustees direct start of Clemey Drive name change to Saints Way, plan parking vacation for Seton recreation center

The Delhi Township Board of Trustees voted to direct the administrator to begin the process to rename Clemey Drive to Saints Way and discussed next steps to vacate a portion of the road to support a shared parking area for the new Seton recreation center.

Administrator Miller said the motion "directs me to start the process" and clarified that the county controls the official street‑name change, so the roadway will remain Clemey Drive until county procedures are complete. "This is a county process that we have to start going through," Miller told trustees.

Trustees said the renaming would better identify the street entry to the new Seton Athletic and Recreation Center. "Clemey is gone, and the Saints Way will take you right to the new Seton Recreation Center," one trustee said after the board approved the motion.

Miller also said he would propose a resolution at a future meeting to begin vacating a portion of Clemey Drive to allow mutual development of a shared parking area between Delhi Town Square and the Seton facility. He described that as an "initial step" and indicated the board would consider the formal resolution at a later meeting.
