Arrowhead board reelects leadership; Schubert named president, Farris vice president

At the board’s reorganization, the members also selected Chris Farris as vice president, Member Hammer as clerk and Member Miller as treasurer. The elections were by voice vote and carried without roll-call tallies; the chair called for “all in favor” and members responded “Aye,” after which the motions were declared to carry.
The board president offered public acknowledgement of committee chairs and volunteers. The president thanked Member Miller and Member Bennicker for their work overseeing combined building-and-grounds and finance-and-legislation duties, praised Member Hemmer for leadership on curriculum and engagement, and recognized Member Farris for leading a multiyear revision to the district’s policy book.
Board members and the superintendent also noted recent committee activity and heavier-than-usual workloads over the past year and thanked volunteers and donors who supported programs across the district.
The reorganizational votes were procedural and no additional policy changes were made during the reorganization portion of the meeting.
