Appointments made at the meeting were approved unanimously. Appointments by Council Member Jenkins were deferred due to the appointee's absence.
Council also appointed Council Member Ray DeBose as the city's voting delegate for the Georgia Municipal Association annual business meeting June 20 in Savannah. The council unanimously approved nominees for GMA District 4 officers for 20259: Michael Johnson (Temple) for president, Tammy Howe (Warm Springs) for first vice president, Steve Fry (Williamson) for second vice president, and Jacqueline Bridges (Carrollton) for third vice president.
Council unanimously confirmed the report produced at the council retreat held in late March, directing staff to follow up on the identified strategic priorities.
