Executive committee approves budget amendments, forwards opioid-defendants resolution to county board

The Dunn County Executive Committee on May 14 approved several 2025 budget amendments for the sheriff's office, Department of Human Services (DHS), and Health Department and voted to forward a resolution to authorize adding opioid defendants to an existing program.
Supervisor Bauer moved and Supervisor Steen seconded the motion to approve the budget adjustments for sheriff, DHS and health; the committee voted unanimously by voice to approve and forward the amendments to the county board.
On a separate item, the committee considered a resolution to add opioid defendants (item 6d). Supervisor Steen moved and Supervisor Wilsey seconded the motion to send the resolution to the county board; the committee approved the resolution by voice vote and the chair said it "will go on to the board." Committee members characterized this as another in a series of similar resolutions and asked no clarifying questions before voting.
