City staff presented a proposed modification to the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program contract that would extend the contract term to December and add funding for capital projects.
Dan, Presiding official, summarized the item: “approving a modification to the, hazard mitigation grant program contract that's extending this, term until December. And I believe that's an additional $632,000 in total funding to bringing the total to, 1.4, million dollars,” he said.
Staff explained the funding would support completion of certain city capital improvement projects (CIP) and that the modification is intended to extend the grant term to allow those projects to be completed under the grant. Commissioners were invited to ask questions; no formal vote occurred during the agenda review.
Staff recommended approval at the upcoming meeting; commissioners will consider the modification at the next action meeting.
