The council granted an extension through Oct. 31, 2026. Motion: "I move that we approve the extension of time for the use of the RAPTAC recreation grant funds... through 10/31/2026." Proclamation: "A Bolder Way Forward" (women and girls initiative) The council adopted Proclamation 2025-07, formally endorsing Summit County as a "change partner" for the statewide initiative A Bolder Way Forward to help women and girls thrive in Utah. The proclamation affirmed the county's intent to raise awareness and work on initiatives in health, safety, education, leadership and workplace equity. Motion: "I make a motion to approve proclamation number 2025-07..." (mover: Councilmember Megan; second: Councilmember Roger). Outcome: Approved by voice vote. The county also received a certificate designating Summit County a Bolder Way Forward partner.
Appointments The council adopted Resolution 2025-27 reappointing Tyler Vorgel and Charity Richins to the North Summit Recreation Special Service District Administrative Control Board, terms to expire 09/30/2029. Outcome: Approved by voice vote.
