Allison Sawyer, a transportation planner with TYLinn, and city staff described the plan as a locally tailored implementation of a Milwaukee County safety effort. The plan sets a target of "achieving 0 traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2037," lays out a corridors-of-concern network, and identifies 19 strategies organized around the safe system approach with actions, timelines and lead actors.
