The Bradford County Board of County Commissioners approved the consent agenda by a 5-0 voice vote on Oct. 7, removing item H for separate consideration. The board later approved item H (FDOT SCRAP resolution) as a standalone item.
During the consent discussion staff noted key items included retroactive approval of M & R Construction change orders 2, 4 and 4 for the Station 9 construction project. Staff said the work covered by those change orders is completed and the costs will be charged to remaining appropriation funds, with no additional cost to the county.
The board also approved purchasing mowing equipment in the amount of $157,003.54. Staff said that purchase had been agreed to by consensus at an April 1, 2025, budget workshop and that the purchase is sole-source through a state contract.
Commissioner Spooner made the motion to approve the consent agenda (except item H). The motion was seconded (record shows Commissioner Andrews seconding). The board voted 5-0 to approve the consent agenda.
