The Show Low City Council approved the consent calendar, a package of routine items the council considered together and passed without separate debate.
Items listed on the consent calendar included a proclamation declaring Nov. 16–22, 2025 as Community Fast of Compassion for Those in Need week; acceptance of campground playground equipment; acceptance of a Governor's Office of Highway Safety grant for increased officer patrols; approval of a noncommercial ground lease with Steven and Kimberly Hickam and termination of a ground lease with John Erst; and approval of an order of construction with Dibble & Associates Consulting Engineers. The council also approved minutes for the Oct. 1, 2025 study session and a special meeting held Oct. 1, 2025.
A council member moved to approve the consent calendar and the motion was seconded (the motion and second were recorded on the transcript; specific mover name was not specified on the record; Councilman Hatch is recorded as the second). The mayor called for the vote and the motion passed on the record.
Because the items were approved on the consent calendar, staff will proceed with the administrative steps needed for each item: accepting grants and equipment, processing lease documents, and executing the Dibble & Associates construction order.
Separately, the council later read the proclamation into the record and invited fast-of-compassion organizers to briefly address the council.
No separate votes on the individual consent items were recorded; the consent package passed as presented.
