At a meeting of the Revere Zoning Board of Appeals, the board voted unanimously to allow Riviera 331 LLC to withdraw application A2526, an application for variances to build a five‑story, 26‑unit apartment building at 331 Riviera Street, "without prejudice." The vote was recorded as yes by board members Lopes, O'Brien, Pelton, Pratt and Chairman Tucker.
The withdrawal means the applicant may refile the proposal in the future without losing any rights, the board noted during the public hearing. Attorney Jamie Russo appeared for Riviera 331 LLC and asked that the application be allowed to withdraw "without prejudice." No public proponents or opponents spoke at the hearing.
Chairman Tucker opened and closed the public portions after asking whether there were any proponents or opponents; none were present. With no further discussion, the board moved to allow withdrawal and recorded the unanimous vote.
Because the application was withdrawn, the board took no substantive land‑use action on the project itself. The withdrawal ends the matter before the ZBA for now; any future filing would reopen public notice and hearing requirements.
