At the start of its Oct. 20 meeting, the Oconee County Planning Commission voted unanimously to continue with the existing officers: Chuck Hunt as chair and Nathan Byrd as vice chair.

A committee report presented by a member identified as Toby recommended retaining the current officers. A motion to accept the recommendation was made and seconded; commissioners voted in favor with no recorded opposition.

The chair called for approval of minutes and then moved on to new business after the officers were confirmed.
