The McLean County Finance Committee on Oct. 8 approved a slate of resolutions and recommended fiscal‑year 2026 budgets for most county departments, and it voted to table the County Clerk’s Elections Program budget for further information.
Administrator Cassie Taylor presented the recommended budgets and supporting materials. Committee discussion covered staffing adjustments, reclassifications and cost drivers such as elections costs, health‑plan claims and planned one‑time projects. The committee approved line‑item budgets for the County Auditor, Assessment Office, County Treasurer, Animal Services (Bridal Services), Cooperative Extension, Veterans Assistance Commission, Historical Museum, Bloomington Election Commission and the Tort Judgment fund.
