Buena High School announces graduation plans, road closures and free shuttle service

Weller described a free shuttle service for the community: “You can be picked up at the mall…Northeast corner of the mall parking lot by Dillard's and Applebee's…and the free shuttle service starts at 4:05.” She said shuttles drop passengers at the stadium gate and return after the ceremony.
The PIO also detailed Project Graduation, the community‑run, all‑night celebration for seniors. “Project Graduation…is an all night safe party for our graduates. Buena High School is open until 5AM. There's food. There's games. There's prizes,” Weller said, noting community volunteers and partner organizations support the event.
Weller advised residents to avoid Charleston during the closure window and suggested alternate routes such as Julio Cesar or State Route 90 to Mohsen Road. She also noted the school typically limits access to permit holders during the temporary closure and that gates close and reopen on a defined schedule.
