Monroe County commissioners on Thursday approved the accounts-payable claims docket for May 15 totaling $7,722,584.37 and the payroll docket for May 16 after the county auditor presented the figures.
Miss Gallardo of the auditor’s office told commissioners the accounts-payable claims docket for 05/15/2025 “totals 7,722,584 and 37¢.” She also reported payroll components for the 05/16/2025 docket, stating direct costs of $1,588,328.29 and indirect costs of $676,089.28. While presenting the combined payroll total, Gallardo misstated and then corrected herself on the record; a clear corrected grand total was not provided in the meeting transcript.
Commissioners asked no substantive questions and there was no public comment on the item. The motion to approve the claims docket and payroll was adopted on a 3-0 voice vote.
