The board approved contingent employment for Nicholas Antinous as a seasonal golf course associate, effective May 15, 2025, and Marion Conroy as a seasonal golf associate, effective May 8, 2025. Both motions were made and seconded on the record and carried by voice vote.
The commission also introduced John Davis, a new maintenance employee at the facility noted in the meeting; Davis provided a brief summary of his prior work in commercial cleaning and building maintenance. The commissioners welcomed him to the county staff.
Commissioner Collins moved to approve vacation carryover requests submitted by maintenance union employees; the board voted to approve the requests as presented. The clerk and staff stated the county had received nine requests; commissioners approved a single inclusive motion to grant the carryovers pursuant to the current collective-bargaining contract.
