Presenters emphasized the multi-year nature of the process, noting students typically begin testing in ninth grade and that participation is optional and student-funded. The district credited staff and administrators across schools for facilitating the effort and named Dan Buller as the staff member who assists with the process for every district high school.
Certificates and medals were distributed to students at the meeting; some students who could not attend due to other commitments were to receive awards later. The district encouraged any students whose names were mispronounced to correct presenters afterward.
