State Department says RSF and Sudanese Armed Forces used foreign-supplied weapons against civilians, urges end to external support

Pickett said the United States calls for an end to all external support to the warring parties and urged partners to press for a comprehensive cessation of hostilities and increased humanitarian access. He declined to discuss private diplomatic conversations from the podium.
No new sanctions announcements or operational measures were made at the briefing; the call was framed as a diplomatic appeal for partners to stop external military assistance and to expand humanitarian access.
