Jones County assessors select Technical Appraisal Services for countywide reevaluation, contingent on commissioners' funding

Why this matters: assessors said a reevaluation is necessary to address valuation metrics identified in a recent state performance review and to correct county sales-ratio measures. Staff told the board the selected firm met the request-for-proposal criteria and proposed a completion date of June 1, 2026—sooner than staff had anticipated.
