Board hears council updates: Abenshein beer garden playground equipment purchase and Caney Architects facilities assessment

Staff also reported that on April 15 the common council awarded a public works and utilities facilities and space‑needs assessment to Caney Architects as part of the city’s strategic action plan to consolidate two facilities and build organizational capacity.
Board members did not ask for further detail at the meeting; staff said they could elaborate on any of the items if requested.
