For BSR‑5 (superintendent accountability), Perkins described a change to decouple the summative evaluation from a strict May timing. The revision allows the summative evaluation process to occur over several months (for example, midyear review and subsequent discussions) rather than pinning the annual summative evaluation to a single date. Director Bocanegra moved the BSR‑5 revision for first reading; Director Braunwald seconded. The motion advanced on a voice vote with no opposition recorded.
