Board members and administrators publicly thanked the outgoing superintendent, Mr. Tosh, for his years of service. Several board members praised the pool of candidates who applied and said they are committed to a smooth transition. Board member Keating said he gave Dr. Soufan his vote of confidence and that the board looks forward to working with the new superintendent.
The selection followed the district’s personnel and candidate review process; board members said the choice resulted from multiple interview rounds and deliberations.
