Commissioners authorize county administrator to finalize Tri City Monitoring contract

A motion to authorize Mr. Danzel "to negotiate and execute a contract with Tri City Monitoring on our behalf" was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote at about 10:29 a.m.
The authorization was recorded on the meeting minutes and the motion passed without a recorded roll‑call dissent. After the vote, the board recessed into executive session. A member of the public later addressed concerns about private security for the guard shack and urged that county deputies perform checks, citing worries about employee access credentials and contractor practices; those comments were in the public‑comment portion of the meeting and did not alter the board’s authorization.
